Today we did a lot of work outside of class. Cecilia and I decided to angle the backdrop inside the box for better side viewing from the audience. I cut the foam core to line the inside and she worked out the flooring, which will be covered with hay next class. Then, her and Matt wallpapered the foam core-- it looks AWESOME-- while Jan and I painted the egg, one of the bird kids, and the father's head (Check out her blog for the pictures). We checked them under the stage lights and they looked great together (I had to fix the colors a little on the dad's head). We were talking a little about the script today and it might be kind of funny if the egg is kind of cheesy. He could say something like "you guys really CRACK me up" or make him seem really frustrated with being an egg and unable to move around...
